Taste of the Danforth: August 8-10, 2014
Celebrate The Krinos Taste of the Danforth’s 12th festival this summer! As one of Canada’s largest street festivals, they are promising an even bigger and better festival than years before with dozens of free activities and even better food.
Barrie Dragon Boat Festival: August 23, 2014
The 12th annual Dragon Boat Festival will be hosted at Barrie’s Heritage Park. Since 2003, this event has raised more than $1.5 million for 60 local charities. Make sure to come out and show your support!
Canadian National Exhibition (CNE): August 15-September 1, 2014
One of North America’s largest fairs, the CNE offers 18 days of fun filled parades, live entertainment, games, amusement park rides and of course, memorable food. In recent years, we’ve seen the Bacon Nation, San Francesco Sandwiches, Taqueria Burrito Bar and much more. We can’t wait to see what the CNE has planned this year!
