So you’ve done all of your holiday shopping and now there’s the big pile of gifts that need wrapping. This can be a great opportunity to tap into your holiday spirit. Harmony Village has a few easy tips for gift-wrapping that will leave your family and friends in awe.
1. Colour-code your presents. Assigning coloured or patterned paper to each individual gift will prevent you from running the risk of mixing up presents before tagging.
2. Gift bags! In so many sizes, shapes and colours, use gift bags with matching or coordinated tissue paper. What’s even better, your guests can reuse them.
3. Use double sided tape. This tape sticks well and can be hidden under folds, keeping presents looking neat and pretty.
4. Keep your supplies stored in a practical location. This way, leftover wrapping supplies won’t go to waste and everything you need is within reach.
5. Don’t use too much paper. Extra paper can lead to sloppy-looking parcels. Trim the ends before you fold them to ensure you’re using just enough wrapping paper.
