June is around the corner and Harmony Village wants to give you where to go and what to do this Spring. 

Discovery Walks. Toronto is a beautiful vast city with a long history and lush surroundings.  To honour this, The City of Toronto has a ‘Discovery Walks’ program. This is a series of self-guided walks through parks, ravines, beaches and neighbourhoods. You follow your map and learn more about the wonderful city you live, all guided by informative signage allowing you to experience learn about the area’s heritage. So, why not download a map here get some exercise, dust off the camera and discover the city of Toronto! 

Cool down. Since you may find yourself overheating in the summer sun, why not take a dip in one of Toronto’s many public swimming pools. To keep yourself active, the City of Toronto offers Aquafit programs as well as splashpads for the little or big kids in your life. 

Sight See. One of the area’s most diverse and ancient forests is steps away from your doorstep. More than a century old,
Crothers Woods is a 52-hectare woodland located in the Don River Valley. With over 10 km of natural surface trails surrounded by rare herbaceous species, Crothers Woods is also home to approximately 26 species of birds. Why not grab a pair of binoculars and see birds while you stroll through the majestic Crothers Woods?
