Harmony Village Lake Simcoe has been working hard to become a trusted and contributing member of the Barrie community. Starting with a design competition with Georgian College, demonstrating our ongoing support to the community college and engagement with surrounding condominium units, Harmony Village is committed to becoming a good neighbour and friend of the residents of Barrie. Although the development has not yet broken ground, we are dedicated to delivering quality. The team is excited about our vision of creating a vibrant community destination, bringing a valuable public asset to the city of Barrie.

Committed to revolutionizing residential living for today’s active adults, Harmony Village Lake Simcoe is designed to be an integral part of the Barrie community, offering an array of health and wellness facilities, lifestyle amenities and entertainment options. This urban village development will be open to all Barrie residents, offering walking paths, indoor and outdoor retail shops, restaurants and cafés for all to enjoy. Proposed in Phase 1 and part of our conversations with the City, the development will also be home to an approximate 37,000 square foot community centre that will host several art and culture organizations, operate health and wellness services and provide personalized and accessible health and wellness options to Harmony Village residents and the community of Barrie.

Harmony Village is also an advocate of the Barrie environment. The facility will use the latest approaches in sustainable and environmentally friendly living, including geothermal and solar technologies. Harmony Village is designed to meet LEED Gold design standards, and will set an example for others to follow.

We rely on the feedback and insights we’ve gained from our conversations with different members of the community. The City of Barrie will be hosting a public meeting to discuss Harmony Village Lake Simcoe. Please come out and support us on September 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. as we are will be building the future of the Barrie Downtown Waterfront for the Citizens of Barrie!
