Recently, a Barrie resident made national and international headlines through a simple act in honour of his late wife.

Lee Ballantayne was having dinner at Cicco’s Ristorante in Barrie when he noticed a young couple at a nearby table. This couple reminded him of how times used to be with his wife, and he asked the server to put their tab of his bill. It was the first time he had ate out alone since his wife passed. Lee left a very touching note and discretely slipped out. While he didn’t want to be noticed, he’s received worldwide notoriety.

The team at Harmony Village was touched by this kind gesture.
