Three fall fashion trends we love

With autumn weather comes fall fashion. The season is well underway and we wanted to share some of our favourite trends for this season!

Colour

Invest in pieces with rich, jewel-toned hues. Emerald green and deep plum are popular colours this season and can be worn in many ways. Both colours can be found in scarfs, sweaters, pants and even in knits and hats: thankfully for fashion-conscious Canadians, warm headwear is in for autumn as well. (Above, The Bay, $45)

Leather

Leather is taking the season by storm and can be found in staple outerwear options or added as extra details on blouses and sweaters. If you have a leather jacket you love to wear, pair it with a great pair of denim for a casual and effortless look, or add a pair of textured trousers with a printed blouse. While Danier always has plenty of beautiful pieces, if you’re looking for a quick, economical update, Cleo has some very trendy faux-leather options this season. Add a variety of different patterns and colours to your wardrobe this autumn. If you’re in the Barrie area, head down Cedar Pointe Drive and see what Back on the Rack has in store.
